The Ultimate Guide to: Biggest & Best Electronic Festivals 2014

This month we bring you our ‘Ultimate Guide to the Biggest Electronic Festivals in 2014’ - and there is a lot going on. Planning ahead is essential -- and that includes getting cheap flights and getting the best deal on your venue entry ticket.

While clubbing events are all about a carefree attitude, we not suggest this kind of attitude with your preparations. Prepare well and you will have a great time. It might seem cool to have the party attitude before you go, but it won’t be after you arrive.

So here it is, the Ultimate Guide to: Biggest & Best Electronic Festivals 2014

++++

We have are using our own rating system based on our experience at some of these events, the information we have gathered from interviewing past attendees, and our opinion based on our knowledge of our avid clubbing and festival readers!

A couple of points to remember when planning.

Tickets:

While the ticketing systems for these festivals have really come a long way in the last few years, we are only giving the rough price descriptions. Take a look around on the official websites for final prices. We also highly recommend you search around the Internet for discount coupon codes.

Travel:

It is always worth looking around on a variety of sites. In my years of experience, Expedia still delivers the best pricing on all tickets around the world. While they often say you cannot change your dates, I have found you can normally paying directly to the airline carrier. Once you have bought you ticket from Expedia, make all contact with the airline and not the Expedia.

Diligence:

With online insurance so cheap these days, if you can’t afford to buy travel insurance, you can’t afford to. Buy travel insurance online. It is cheap, and if you don’t need it, it was well worth the investment.

What NOT to Take:

You can take all your mobile devices with you on your trip, but don’t bring them to the actual events. Get a second hand and very cheap mobile phone for when you are at the actual events.

What to Think About Before You Go:

Save a lot of money by making calls on Skype through free wifi carriers.

What to Remember When You are Out and About:

As a tourist, you will look like a tourists. That means you will be the target of pickpockets and other minor crime. This is your party, and you are not there to be taken advantage of.

Little Items You Might Forget You Need:

Make sure you have all the medications you need in your. Keep your cell phones well recharged. You don’t want to be running out of batteries during an event. Recharge cell phones before going out and coming home. If you are traveling overseas, avoid carrying your real passport, despite what the legal requirements of the country. Photocopy passport information page and visa stamp to carry with you.

Keep your originals locked away.Have a great time. No one is going to dare mess with you.

This guide contains the latest information on our highly recommended global clubbing events.

Description & Opinion:

This festival is situated in the Monegros desert (Huesca) in the middle of the expanse of Madrid and Barcelona. It claims to be one of the biggest raves in Spain, if not the world. This year’s event is over two dates, and let’s hope that means we will get even more music out WIth 40,000 people normally attending and 22-hours of non-stop music, it is a huge night, and one that should not be missed. Wondering which airport to choose? Either way is the same deal. Depends on what you are looking for during your trip. Barcelona is our recommendation for festival goers. Take the shuttle from either airport because it is just too easy. This year is the 20th anniversary and so you can expect some old faces and some slamming music.
